StartUpJobs.co.nz operates a private directory connecting New Zealand businesses with fractional executives. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
Published talent profiles, including aggregated ratings and reference highlights, are visible to authenticated members of the Platform — they are not publicly indexed. Individual reference responses are visible to the talent member they concern and to our administrators and talent partners. Contact details are only shared through facilitated introductions or with your consent.
Data is stored with Supabase (database and file storage) and our application is hosted on Vercel. Access is protected by row-level security, role-based permissions and encrypted connections. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no system is completely secure.
Some of these providers store data outside New Zealand. We only use providers with safeguards we consider comparable to those required by the Privacy Act 2020.
We keep personal information while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you. Contact us at hello@startupjobs.co.nz. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Platform or by email.
